Holiday hours at the Trust


As a reminder, the WEA Trust will be closed April 2 and April 5 (Friday, Monday). Here's some information about how to contact us during the holidays.

If you're covered by our health and/or dental insurance
If you have any questions about your health and/or dental insurance benefits, it is suggested that you call the Trust's Customer Service Department at 1-800-279-4000 before the dates listed above. If your call is not urgent, we recommend that you do not call on Tuesday, April 6, to avoid possible long on-hold times.

When calling our "800" number during nonbusiness hours, please listen carefully to the series of prompts you'll be given.

If you or a family member are calling regarding hospital admission notification, please leave as much of the following information as you can:
  • Subscriber number
  • Subscriber name
  • Patient name
  • Date of admission
  • Reason for admission
  • Name of the facility
If you would like us to call you back, please be sure to leave a number where you can be reached; we will contact you on the next business day.

If you're covered by our auto and homeowners insurance
If you have questions about your auto or homeowners insurance, call our staff directly at 1-800-279-4010. We will also be checking voice mail periodically throughout the holiday for important messages. If you have a claims emergency, such as a house fire or a serious auto accident with injuries, please remember that you can access our 24-hour claims emergency line by calling 1-800-241-2541. If you call the emergency line, please refer to program number 11497. For other claims and any other messages, leave your name, phone number, and your message, and we'll return your call as soon as we can.

If you need to file an auto or homeowners claim, make changes to your policy, or obtain a premium quote, you can reach us 24 hours a day by going to the WEA Trust Member Benefits Web site at weabenefits.com or by sending an e-mail to memberbenefits@weatrust.com.

For WEAC IRA or tax-sheltered annuity participants
If you participate in WEA Trust Member Benefits' WEAC IRA or tax-sheltered annuity (TSA) program, you can talk to a staff member by calling 1-800-279-4030 or by sending an e-mail to memberbenefits@weatrust.com. Please note: Investment changes cannot be accepted via our phone messaging service or e-mail. If you wish to make investment changes in your account, please contact a consultant during business hours or go to our Web site at weabenefits.com.
